Since I started exercising, I feel better, I have more energy, and I think more clearly.  First of all, before I started exercising on a daily basis, I would suffer with flu-like symptoms every winter.  Now, I have gone two winters without catching the flu or a cold.  Prior to joining the gym, I would come home from work, flop on the couch, and not move until it was time to go to bed.  Exercising has given me so much energy that I can now come home from work and accomplish many tasks. Secondly, when I was a couch potato, I had no motivation to tackle work, and daily problem would become stressful for me. Since exercising, my stress level has been reduced and I now am thinking logically and rationally. To sum up, the positive effects of exercise have improved my life a great deal.
